The Good Housekeeping Institute presented our tasting panel with 20 alternative mince pies. Testers were looking for an authentic festive mincemeat component, alongside a complementary flavour twist. These are our best buys for the non-traditionalists.

Joanna Anastasiou is our Food and Drinks Tester, and has completed certifications in Sensory Foundation and WSET Wine Level 2 training.
