How we test Christmas biscuit tins

The Good Housekeeping Institute’s panel of experts and consumers tested 19 Christmas biscuit selections, presented in a variety of giftable tins.

Each was assessed on its aroma, taste and presentation. Our experts were looking for buttery bakes, with classic flavours and well-integrated ingredients – think chocolate chips, caramel or spices – to further enhance the festive biccie.

Whether you prefer the classic flavour of a comforting buttery Scottish shortbread, or like a chocolate chip cookie with your cuppa, we’re confident you’ll enjoy these top-rated treats.
