Swedish home furnishings giant Ikea is getting a new structure and a new board. More specifically, it is the Ingka Group that wants to set itself up for future generations, and now announces the seven people who will assist its new CEO, Juvencio Maeztu.
Eight-member board
From 1 January 2026, the group management will consist of Cindy Andersen as vice-CEO and CFO, Ulrike Biesért as ‘People, Sustainability and Communications Manager’, Emily Birkin as ‘Development and Transformation Manager’, Pareg Parekh as ‘Digital Manager’ and Javier Quinones as ‘Commercial Manager’. In addition, Kurt-Jörgen Olsson will retain the role of ‘General Counsel’ and Melisa Connors that of Management Assistant.
