Maisons du Monde had to endure another significant revenue decline in the second quarter of 2025, but the French retailer says it can see the first signs of a cautious recovery.
Further below zero
After a 9.9 % drop in the first quarter, sales again fell by 7.5 % in the second quarter to reach 223.2 million euros. This brings the sales for the entire first half of the year to 444.6 million euros, a decrease of 8.7 % year-on-year. The company points to a difficult economic climate for the furniture and decoration sector, made only worse by unfavourable macroeconomic conditions and fierce competition.
