Wibra is strengthening its management team with a Chief Operating Officer: Rogier Wijnhoven will be ultimately responsible for IT and later also for the logistical organisation.
Broad experience
Wijnhoven, a business economist and accountant, spent the past twenty years in management positions at Stichd (part of Puma), Sissy-Boy, WE Fashion and Prénatal, among others. From 1 September, he will become responsible for IT, and by the second quarter of 2026 – at the latest – the logistical organisation will also be added.
“We are enormously pleased with Rogier’s arrival. His broad operational and project experience, combined with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach, perfectly match our ambitions”, CEO Bas Duijsens said. “With his leadership and eye for opportunities, he will make an important contribution to the further growth and professionalisation of Wibra.”
Wijnhoven becomes the discounter’s sixth board member, alongside Duijsens himself, Wim Smit, Per Eriks, Jeroen Markink and Sjoerd Verlegh.
