A fast fashion player going upmarket, a mysterious maze for fashionistas, a sneaker paradise for runners, a militant savior of nearly lost food, and an ambitious hybrid discounter: RetailDetail took a stroll through Paris.
H&M, c’est chic
In early September, H&M opened an atypical store with a more chic look in the popular historic shopping district of Le Marais. The retailer wants to position itself a little higher in the market here, perhaps inspired by its rival Zara, which has been going upmarket for some time now. In the attractive, approximately 1,000 m² store with an inner courtyard, shoppers will find a carefully curated and beautifully presented selection from the range. A mix of fashion items and accessories, with a special focus on second-hand items. This is a new look for the Swedish fashion giant.
