In the last twelve years, Action has increased its turnover in Belgium tenfold. The average turnover per store now exceeds six million euros. The low-end retailer is popular with all population groups, but especially with Belgians with a migrant background.
Appeal transcends socioeconomic boundaries
Action Belgium continues to redefine discount retail. Between 2012 and 2024, the discount chain increased its Belgian turnover to 1.38 billion euros, while margins remained stable and the number of stores expanded to 228, according to exclusive figures from market researcher Shopperware.
