Belgian small and medium-sized enterprises exported 380 million euros worth of goods via Amazon last year. To help entrepreneurs overcome their reluctance to do business online, the web platform is launching an E-Academy in collaboration with sector federation Becom.

Amazon’s retail activity, in which the retailer itself purchases and sells stock from well-known brands such as Lego and Brabantia, accounts for 40% of its business. However, just over 60% of sales are generated by sales partners, often smaller local businesses. The export turnover of Belgian companies via the platform grew by 15% last year, according to the new Amazon SME Impact Report 2025.
