Poppies Bakeries, the West Flemish world leader in cream puffs and other pastry, has appointed Inge Demeyere as CEO. She will take over from Patrick Reekmans on 1 April, after a 24-year career at Cargill.
Market leader with growth ambitions
Last year, Poppies Bakeries achieved a turnover of 460 million euros with cream puffs, éclairs, donuts, macarons, and other confectionery. The company profiles itself as the world leader in cream puffs, mainly produced on behalf of supermarket chains. The family business from Zonnebeke has 1,400 employees spread across thirteen locations in Europe and the United States.
