Colruyt has decided to close its last five stores in France. The Belgian supermarket chain tried to find a buyer for all its stores in France, but was unsuccessful for the last five.
No buyer found
The chain will close its last five French stores (in Carling, Faulquemont, Masevaux-Niederbruck, Montchanin and Sens) due to a lack of interest from buyers, French news medium LSA reports. These were the only remaining stores after the penultimate batch of stores was taken over last month by Carrefour (three) and Coopérative U (two).
