Wehkamp has ended its previous financial year (up to March) with a loss of 89.1 million euros. Without a large write-down on goodwill, the deficit would have been only 8.9 million — although that is still more than the year before. How does the e-tailer intend to turn its tanker around?

Consumer sales for the company behind Kleertjes.com, Union River (which ceased trading in July), and of course Wehkamp itself fell by 6.8 % to 514 million euros; sales for the main brand dropped 4.7 %. For the sixth year in a row, Wehkamp achieved a positive EBITDA, this time one of 22.6 million.
