The death of Isak Andić, founder of clothing chain Mango, may not have been caused by an unfortunate fall after all. The Catalan police are conducting a murder investigation and consider his son Jonathan a suspect.
Reopening of the investigation
A mountain hike on Montserrat, near Barcelona, ended fatally for Isak Andić on December 14 last year. The 71-year-old businessman, with an estimated fortune of four billion euros, appeared to have slipped on a path and fallen 150 meters into a ravine. His son Jonathan, who was with him, said he “heard a fall” but saw nothing because he was walking a few meters ahead of his father.
