Inditex employees have announced that they will take action on Black Friday in seven European countries, including France and Germany. They are demanding that the fashion giant start sharing its profits with its staff again, as was the case before the pandemic.
Protests in major cities
Spanish trade union CCOO is said to be the instigator of the protests, but sister organisations in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and Portugal are expected to join in. The protests will take place in front of major Zara stores in large cities. FashionNetwork mentions protests in Barcelona, Brussels, Lisbon, Luxembourg, Paris, Rome and Stuttgart, among other cities.
