In a new city store, belgian fashion chain LolaLiza presents a modular store concept that can be adapted to both larger and smaller retail spaces. Striking elements include the spacious display window and comfortable fitting rooms.
Inspiring shopping experience
LolaLiza’s new 650 m² store opened on Wednesday morning on IJzerenleen in Mechelen, in a building that until a few months ago housed Casa. The enormous glass display window gives passers-by an immediate overview of the store and creates a natural connection between inside and outside. Interior designer Ernesto Sanchez Chanona opted for rounded shapes in natural and sustainable materials such as stone, wood, and metal.
The open furniture is flexible and adjustable to accommodate changing collections. Large screens convey the LolaLiza brand identity, while mannequins inspire shoppers. At the back of the store, there are no fewer than fourteen spacious fitting rooms, designed with comfort and femininity in mind: after all, fitting rooms are the place of truth, where the conversion must take place. Store employees are equipped with interactive pads that allow them to order items immediately if they are not available in the store.
“We remain true to our DNA, but continue to refine it,” says Joachim Rubin, CEO of LolaLiza. “With this new store concept—with updated colors, materials, and a softer look—we are taking another step forward. It’s all about a more feminine, modern, and inspiring shopping experience with character. Our stores should not only be about fashion, but also about experience and connection with the brand.”
