Italian shoe brand Geox saw its sales drop 6.2 % to 492.8 million euros in the first nine months of 2025, partly due to the closure of its American and Chinese subsidiaries. However, there is much more to it than that.

Sales declined across all channels: while stores managed to hold their own somewhat (- 2 %), wholesale sales (- 6 %) and especially online sales (- 12 %) fell sharply. With 186 million euros in sales, stores are now firmly the largest sales channel.
