Dutch shoe brand Van Lier is in serious trouble: its revenue plummeted last year, and the family business can no longer pay its tax debts.
Liquidity under pressure
Van Lier is urgently seeking capital – or a buyer: preliminary annual figures show that the shoe brand suffered a net loss of nearly one million euros in the past financial year, Dutch newspaper FD reports. Van Lier has now engaged a merger adviser to hold talks with potential investors.
