While various players in the luxury sector are struggling with disappointing figures, Hermès remains on track. CEO Axel Dumas attributes the strong figures to customer loyalty and employee commitment.
Despite uncertain context
Hermès’ revenue rose 9.6% to 3.9 billion euros in the third quarter. For the fiscal year to date, consolidated revenue amounts to 11.9 billion euros, an increase of 9% at constant exchange rates and 6% at current exchange rates. The luxury fashion group’s growth is remarkable in a context of global economic and geopolitical uncertainty.
