Back Market, a French marketplace specialising in high-end refurbished electronics, is posting record figures. It now wants to launch new services to further accelerate growth, including a repair platform.
Double digits
The global player in refurbished electronics saw a 36 % increase in new users in the second quarter. The platform expects to reach more than three billion euros of total gross merchandise value (GMV) this year. The United States has become its second-largest market, while there was also more than 10 % growth in its home market. The company, founded in Paris in 2014, has seventeen million customers in seventeen markets.
