In addition to its two existing stores in Antwerp and Ghent, self-care brand Wondr has opened ten additional pop-up stores in Belgium and one in the Netherlands in time for the holiday season.
Fighting hygiene poverty
With these temporary stores, the brand is filling vacant retail spaces in Aalst, Anderlecht, Charleroi, Kortrijk, Leuven, Mechelen, Ostend, Roeselare, Sint-Niklaas and Wijnegem (Belgium) and in Utrecht (the Netherlands).
The stores sell gift sets as part of the brand’s new end-of-year campaign, ‘The Wondr of Gifting’. The focus is on the fight against hygiene poverty, a theme that Wondr has been committed to every year-end since 2021. A portion of the proceeds from each gift box goes to local organisations that provide hygiene products to those who need them.
“With a physical presence in five shopping centres and six high-traffic shopping streets during the festive season, we want to share our mission with as many people as possible and offer them the opportunity to give a healthy gift”, Wondr’s Jens Metdepenningen explains. The eleven pop-ups will remain open until just after New Year’s Day.
